Hello from beautiful Montana;

Just as you have asked for-here are some more tips on teaching children to assume personal responsibility and help at home.

  • It is easier to clean in a systematic way, so teach kids to move clockwise around the room as they work.  This ensures that everything gets done without wasting time backtracking.
  • I recommend Don Aslett’s book Is There Life After Housework  for more great cleaning tips!

If you would like to learn more ideas for encouraging less electronic time and
more active helpful time, check out the great eBook  called 101 Ways to Get Your
Kids to Help at Home at http://www.ResponsibleChildren.com

Thanks and we will see you tomorrow.  let me know what ideas you have
implemented that have worked for your family.  Share and support families.
