Hello from beautiful Montana,

I feel strongly that families should eat at least one meal a day Together.  That should be a time for sharing news, making plans and a respite from the world.  It should not be a time of bickering, lectures or shaming or blaming.

It is also important that everyone in the family be involved in meal preparation in some way or another. It builds a sense of community and ritual.

the next few tips will be centered on the kitchen.  After all, it is the most popular room in the home.

Tip 6.

If one of the job assignments is to make cold lunches, keep all sandwich and lunch fixing in one refrigerator drawer.  Keep some plastic and brown bags there, too.  if the lunch packer is not a morning person, have him make up sandwiches the night before and just store the partially filled brown bags in the fridge waiting for sleepy heads to add their own special treats.

Have fun with your family.  Divide the work and multiply your time spend enjoying each other.
