Hello from beautiful Montana:
Wherever you live in the world, you are nearby nature. Nature is all around us. It is the earth: the sun, the trees, the grass, the rocks, the environment we take for granted each day. Sometimes we are so busy earning a living and making dinner for the family that we forget to make a life and nourish our souls.
Discover Your Own Nature Nearby
- Take a hike around your neighborhood and try to identify the many colors that are in the rainbow.
- Look just for different shades and intensities of the same color. How many colors of green are there?
- Inhale deeply and identify the smells. What does fresh air smell like to you? What does grass smell like? How about tree bark? How about rocks?
Nourished by Nature is Food for the Soul
Montana is one of the most beautiful states in America and we are blessed to be nearby nature. As families, we can get serious and hike in the mountains, fish in the streams, or bike in the canyons. However, even in our own backyards, we have the opportunity to go bug hunting, search for interesting rocks or just dig in the dirt and plant flowers or vegetables. So many options when you have nature nearby.
You are a part of my environment and I am nourished by your presence. Even if we don't always get to meet in person, it is good to know that somewhere in the world, you are enjoying your nature too.
In gratitude,
Judy H. Wright aka Auntie Artichoke, family relationship coach and author
PS: Did you know I was a professional speaker and would love to come to your area to talk to your association or conference. If you suggest me as a keynote speaker and I get hired, I will give you a very, very nice gift card.
Check out the website http://www.ArtichokePress.com for a listing of the workshops and keynotes I give. I have 4 major speeches scheduled in May. Yeah!
